IBC 2025 Amsterdam Recap: Big Stage for Smart Motion Control

We wrapped an energizing show in Amsterdam with a packed booth, hands-on demos, and deep-dive conversations. On the product side, we launched SlideKit and SlideBase, ran continuous on-site demos of MoCoCar, and introduced Axis 1.0 to creators and integrators looking for serious motion control.

Below is a detailed look at what we showed, what we learned, and what’s next.

What we launched?

SlideKit

SlideKit is our new path from manual to motorized. It mounts to most dual-rail sliders with a clamp-on drive and adapter plate, turning the slider you already own into an app-controlled, repeatable system. It was a hit with teams who want to preserve their existing rails and carriages while gaining programmable moves, timelapse, and reliable interview slides—without changing their workflow or budget planning.

SlideBase

SlideBase is our modular foundation for building the exact slider you need—rail lengths, plates, and mounts configured per set. Where SlideKit brings motion to what you own, SlideBase gives a clean starting point for standardized builds. Teams liked the straightforward rigging, clear mounting points, and the ability to scale from tabletop lengths to longer studio runs with the same interface.

On-site demo: MoCoCar

We ran live demos of MoCoCar throughout the show. Drew steady crowds thanks to its quick rigging and smooth repeatability. From studios to longer tracking shots, attendees appreciated how the platform balances portability with pro-level rigidity.

Highlights we kept hearing

  • Smaller, lighter chassis; easier to transport without compromising stability.
  • Quick wheel/track swaps for different floors and surfaces.
  • Repeatable precision for VFX plates and product passes.

We spent quality time with existing partners and met promising new distributors and rental houses. Feedback clustered around three themes:

  1. Standardize, then scale: buyers want modular systems that expand over time without retraining crews.
  2. Speed to first shot: fast setup and intuitive controls matter as much as specs.
  3. Reliability on set: quiet operation and repeatability are non-negotiable for product, tabletop, and broadcast.

What’s next

We’re rolling learnings from IBC into firmware, accessories, and documentation:

Tuning presets for common payload ranges on SlideKit/SlideBase.

Expanded mounting options for MoCoCar.

Control refinements and ecosystem integrations for Axis 1.0.

If you stopped by, thank you—your questions and requests directly shape our roadmap. If we missed each other in Amsterdam, we’re happy to schedule a short demo and share the latest materials.
